Whilst it is the third year that Making Hay will be blogging from the festival I am the first admit that the blog is an unofficial, amateur affair.  This year Hay gets an official ‘blogger in residence’  appointed by Literature Wales.   Horatio Clare, the author of Running for the Hills, and winner of both a Somerset Maugham Award and a Foreign Press Award will be writing at the Literature Wales Blog.

He’s two posts in already and the Festival is still three weeks away. We very much look forward to reading more of his literary musings after all as Horatio says “Hay is about as much fun as you can have in the writing game”.
