There’s a new set of wheels in town for this year’s Hay Festival. If you want to ride into the town in style there will be a Pedicab shuttle service running between the centre and the festival site. The operators are Hereford Pedicabs who hail from the nearby cathedral city and county town of Herefordshire, where they provide taxi and cargo services with their fleet of pedal powered super-trikes.
Although it’s not far between Hay and the festival site its easier on the legs to take a cab and even greener than the shuttle bus. It may be just the ticket for the a trip to a tea room or second-hand book store. “I’ll tell you who I had in the back of my pedicab…..”
