This is an unofficial blog for the Hay on Wye Literary Festival.  The blog started in 2009 as a hobby and as an extension of the Hay experience, which I’ve been enjoying since I first visited in 2003.

In its first year the blog attracted a “staggering” 500 or so views. After two years the number was just short of 10,000, with the year on year figure at least more than doubling since then.  We’ve had author guest bloggers and I was joined by another blogger Lyndsey or ‘teadevotee’ in 2011 and Jill and Pete both blogged last year under the name MyFavouriteSweets.
